Dear John, By Nicholas Sparks is a love story between John and Savannah. Savannah is a super Christian who is thrilled by life. John Tyree is a super macho Army dude who takes his job very seriously. When the choice comes down to it, he chooses to reenlist when 9/11 strikes. He expected Savannah to be there when he returned but is sad to find she had written a letter to him and that she had fallen in love with another man. After his father passes away he tries to visit her to find that all had changed.
